Maian Affiliate Integration

Maian Affiliate is an affiliate system enabling you to offer affiliates commissions on your sales. Affiliate commissions can be a great way of increasing your income via affiliate marketing.

Setting up Maian Affiliate should hopefully be fairly straightforward:

1 Download and install Maian Affiliate.

2 Add Maian Stripe as a product in your Maian Affiliate control panel.

3 In Maian Stripe, navigate to 'Settings > General > Options > Maian Affiliate' in your control panel and complete the setup for Maian Affiliate. Use the 'Help' link for information on each setting.

4 To test your integration, set up an affiliate link on a different domain to your Maian Stripe installation. This will ensure the referrer is set. Check your Maian Affiliate admin area to make sure data is being received. To indentify issues, check the logs in both setups.

The affiliate system sets cookies within your Maian Stripe installation. This is fine and contains only the affiliate ID. You should put a message in your store/privacy policy letting visitors know a cookie is being used. If visitors have cookies blocked, affiliate codes will not work.
