Autoresponder Setup

Once you have installed the system, you'll want to set up some campaigns. Once a campaign is set up you can add the html code to your website to start getting subscribers. If you have existing subscribers you can add them via the add or import option on the add subscribers page.

Once you have a subscriber base, you can start sending out broadcast messages. These are sent instantly and unless specified go to all subscribers.

Follow up messages can be set up for each campaign and can be queued to be sent a certain times.

The system supports custom bounce handlers and certain 3rd party smtp service web hooks to remove subscribers who are using old mailboxes or have used a disposable email service etc. If you are using a 3rd party service, the more bounces you have can affect your credit rating. You can also use the 3rd party functions to remove subscribers who have complained about your messages. ie, marked them as spam.

Finally, you'll need to set up a few routines to run as cron jobs / automated tasks on the server. This includes bounce handlers and messages. If your server doesn't support cron jobs, you will have to execute the relevant files manually.
