Add Response

Overview

Enables adding of standard (or canned) response. Please read carefully. Click example images to display full size version in new tab/window.

Response Options

Enable Response - Enables response.

Title - Enter title for new response.

Answer - Enter response text. Code formatting is allowed via a Wysiwyg editor or BB code. More info here. Clicking the crosshair icon in the text area will expand the textarea (for BB code). Useful on small devices.

Departments

Click the Departments tab to set which departments this response applies to. If no departments are set, it will default to all departments. This determines which responses to make available on a ticket page by the reply box. If you always select ALL departments, then ALL responses will be searched, resulting in possibly slower load times, depending on how many responses you have in the system. It is recommended you group responses by department, but this is optional.
